Then, follow these steps to sign your will.

Get in touch with a Commissioner of Oaths if necessary. 

If you are going to sign your will by:

• making a mark (ie a cross or a thumbprint); or 
• by someone other than you in your presence and on instruction from you,

a Commissioner of Oaths must certify the last page of your will in your presence when you or someone else signs your will.

Decide how you will keep your will safe.

1.  Ask Nedgroup Trust to keep it in safe custody for a yearly fee. 

If you would like Nedgroup Trust to keep your will in safe custody, you can:

• take your originally signed will and the completed and signed safe custody form (which will be in the pack we send you with your will) to your nearest Nedbank branch;
• contact your banker; or
• courier your originally signed will to: Nedgroup Trust, Second Floor, Block H, Nedbank , 135 Rivonia Road, Sandown, Sandton, 2196.

2. Keep it safe yourself.

If you prefer to keep your will, you must select option B on the safe custody form (which will be in the pack we send you with your will) and email the signed form to willscentre@nedbank.co.za.
