Protect your money by protecting your PIN and password.  

Watch out for fraudsters posing as Nedbank employees, offering to reverse a debit order or fraudulent transaction on your account. These fraudsters will then ask you for either your Nedbank ID username and password or card number and PIN so that they can ‘reverse’ the transaction. They may even ask you to accept, an Approve-it message to reverse the transaction.

 

  • We will never ask you for your card PIN or your Nedbank ID password, to reverse a transaction or debit order. Don’t share them with anyone.
  • Always read Approve-it messages carefully before you accept them and never share your one-time password (OTP) with anyone.
  • Never trust caller ID.
  • If you have compromised your banking details, immediately call us on 0800 110 929.
