From June 2022, you’ll receive your Approve-it messages right here on the Money app. Find out how it works.

To improve security and keep your money safe, we’re changing the way you approve your transactions.

From June 2022, you’ll no longer receive the usual pop-up on your cellphone to approve or decline transactions.

You'll now get an Approve-it notification directly from the Money app when doing transactions. Then simply log in with your Nedbank ID, FaceID or TouchID to approve or decline it.

Benefits of this security update:

• Better protection against SIM swap fraud, which is when fraudsters use your ID to register a cellphone number so they can approve fraudulent transactions.
  
• More control over high-risk transactions.
  
• The peace of mind that comes with world-class security technology.
