Fraud Alert!

Beware of phishing scams and SIM swaps - protect you login details.
Fraudsters send emails that look like they come from Nedbank. When you click on the link, you are asked for your Nedbank ID username and password or card number and PIN. The fraudsters then use the details to access your bank account.

They may also do a SIM swap or number port on your cellphone number so that you don’t get banking notifications.

  • Nedbank will NEVER ask you for your Nedbank ID username and password or card number and PIN in a link in an email.
  • If you get an SMS for a SIM swap or number port you didn't request, or lose cellphone connectivity for a long time without reason, call your service provider and let us know immediately on 0800 110 929.
  • Always read your Approve-it messages carefully and decline the transaction if you didn't make it, and report the incident to Nedbank immediately.
