Kaizer Chiefs have received a massive boost ahead of their Nedbank Cup Last 32 tie with Royal Eagles at the FNB Stadium on February 8 with the news that striker c has returned to training for the first time this year. Billiat has not featured for the club since before Christmas, but following some intensive rehabilitation, is now back on the training field for the AmaKhosi. The Zimbabwe international received treatment for a troublesome hamstring injury that had been hampering him for some time, but he know appears to have fully recovered.

Billiat has been a stalwart of the Nedbank Cup down the years, having played in the competition for Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
He was part of the Sundowns side that lifted the trophy in 2015 when they beat his former side Ajax on penalties after their final had finished 0-0. He was also part of the Chiefs team that made the decider last year, though they came unstuck against second-tier TS Galaxy and lost 1-0. He made his Nedbank Cup debut for Ajax against Free State Stars in 2011, coming off the bench in a 2-1 away defeat.

He has gone on to play in 19 games in all, scoring five goals, including in a 3-3 thriller for Ajax against AmaZulu (2012), for Sundowns against Platinum Stars (2015), and two for Chiefs against The Magic and Chippa United in 2019. His return will be a big boost to the Chiefs frontline that also includes Serbian forward Samir Nurkovic and Colombian Leonardo Castro.
