Over the last few years the South African Revenue Service and the four major commercial banks have been working on a payment channel project to improve taxpayer and trader payment services. One of the primary objectives of this project is to gradually link all electronic banking channels to SARS eFiling. This initiative is in line with SARS' continuing endeavours
to improve its service to all taxpayers and traders.
This enabled the introduction of payment methods and points of presence for taxpayers and traders to pay SARS, via www.sarsefiling.co.za. It provides improved payment services to enable taxpayers and traders to easily track and query their payment transactions electronically.
What are the benefits of SARS eFiling?
Due to increased competitive demands on South African businesses, we understand that standing in queues to pay taxes can be costly in terms of resources and time. eFiling is available to small and large business and offers:
Effective registration, payment and submission of taxes
A 7 days a week, 24 hours per day, 365 days a year service
