How can i get connected? Firstly, you will need a Self-Service banking profile number and PIN and/or Password. If you are a Nedbank accountholder and currently use Internet banking, Self-Service Terminals (SST's) or already using the Cellphone or Telephone banking services, you will already have a Self-Service banking profile number, PIN and/or password. If you have not used any of these services before, simply call the Self-Service Helpdesk on 0860 555111 for further assistance OR click here.
For Nedbank Cellphone Banking (WAP) Ensure your handset is WAP capable and GPRS/EDGE or 3G enabled. A WAP browser is a web browser for mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets.
You can request GPRS/EDGE or 3G settings by following these easy steps:
MTN subscribers Enter *123*13# and press the 'call' button.
VODACOM subscribers Enter *111# and press the 'call' button.
CELL C subscribers SMS 'GPRS' to 084 155 9911
VIRGIN MOBILE subscribers Call 123 from a Virgin Mobile handset or call 074 1000 123 from any other handset.

For Nedbank SMS Banking Most cellphones capable of sending an SMS can access Nedbank SMS Banking. You will find the service to be quick, efficient and cost-effective.
As cost effective as you'd like it to be SMS Banking is FREE of subscription and transaction fees*. Cellphone Banking WAP attracts the same transaction fees as you would pay on Internet Banking. There is no additional subscription fee for Cellphone banking WAP if you already use Internet Banking. SMS Banking users are only charged for the amount of time spent in the application. The cost varies from network to network, so please contact your service provider for the latest prices.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your profile number, PIN and Password are protected and not shared with anyone. Nedbank will not be liable for any transactions on your profile where your PIN has been given to another person.
The system does not save details of the transaction, profile number or PIN - there is no risk of anyone accessing the information if the handset is stolen.
The PIN is your responsibility and you must ensure confidentiality at all times.
If the banking session is interrupted for whatever reason (e.g. by an incoming call, receiving an SMS, flat battery) the transaction may time-out. This also applies if there is no activity for a period of time. In both instances you will be logged out of the session and your transmission will be terminated.
